My refrigerator was messed up then it defrosted. The company that American Home Shield sent out to fix it took too long. I lost so many things in that fridge. These days, we have a lot of stuff. I was very happy when they called Sears and they came the day after. That was very good. They sent me the best technician from Sears who did the repair on the same day. Everything went well.
I had a plumbing issue where All Clear Plumbing came out and they did a great job. They were punctual and pretty easy to work with. They did everything they said they'd do from scheduling the appointment, contacting them, to the actual technician coming out and doing whatever he was required to do. The guy called briefly to let me know he was on his way and every aspect of the service went fine. As a first time AHS user I have been very happy with the customer service I have received as well as the easy to use online portal to have repairs done.
Positive experience. Appointment set up quickly. Plumber explained the broken item and replaced it. Gave me the paperwork and warranty information. I did not have any concerns or questions that were not covered.
My most recent claim with Home Shield was for a toilet issue. The contractors who came out were fine and they repaired it.
The refrigerator wasn't getting cold and so I submitted the claim online. I thought it was easy and the response was fast. AHS tells who is the assigned contractor and that if I want to, I can contact them to set up an appointment. Angel Appliances Repair came out and the guy was awesome. He did his work and he fixed it. I had lost all my food and I had to throw it all away. Now, my food's cold. I've been referring AHS to a lot of people. My experience has been good so far.
When the AC was turned on, it would start and run for a few minutes and then it would start making a horrible noise. Almanor Energy came out and the guy looked at it and he knew pretty quickly what was wrong. It ended up not being a big of a problem and he fixed it that same day. It worked out great.
The AC wasn’t cooling. This happened on a Saturday and here in Laredo, Texas it really gets hot and Walker Air didn't come out until Monday. But the tech did a really good job. He said it was something that has to do with the motor.
We submitted a claim when we had to have our air conditioner worked on and then the other claim was for our pool chlorinator. I did one claim online but in the future, I would probably call it in. Online submission saves time but I like to look at the reviews of the service people and I don't know if they checked them out. A lot of people now are if you're gonna have something done, you kinda look for reviews online and see what they're like.
