My air conditioning didn't turn on. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield online. The website was fine. They said a contractor would contact me within 24 business hours. I reported the issue on a late Thursday night. They contacted me on a Monday. The service guy from Kravets was quick. He told me everything that he was doing and what he needed to go get. He went and got it and came back. He was pretty much done within a couple of hours.

I've been in my house for about six years. The person that I bought my house from, which is the second owner, had in the deal American Home Shield. I went ahead and took it over and kept it in my name. I have been with it since I got this house and I renew it every year as I should and keep it moving. They had Draingo of Alabama come out for a plumbing issue I had. Everything went great. This was the second time I've worked with them. The guy that always came out was very professional. He didn't sugarcoat anything and told me... read more

If I find my own person to come and fix something, it's gonna take time. With a home warranty, it’s fast. When I bought the home, the owner before it had American Home Shield so we just continued on. But when I call AHS, I hate that I have to speak with the machine. I would like to speak with a customer service rep to request the service. I had an issue with the AC and Three Brothers came out. They were on time and did everything fast. They wore their masks too. I called them the day before that and they came the next day. T... read more

Before, we turned the AC on and it wasn't cooling. The fan inside would blow, but it would blow warm air or just room temperature air. The guy from Myers Comfort Specialists said that when he came and checked it out, the fan motor was burned out. So, he replaced the fan motor, and it started cooling again. But it seems like it's louder than what it was originally. When the fan kicks on, it's a little louder. I could hear it from outside in my bedroom. But other than that, it's cooling. The tech did what he was supposed to do... read more

The icemaker was stuck and not making ice. I called Home Shield and it took a long time to get through but normally, it doesn't take that long. The tech from AMTEC came out and he fixed the icemaker. They were great.

I submitted a claim online with AHS because the refrigerator wasn't working properly. The contractors fixed it and everything was good afterward.

Seller provided the home warranty for my new house. The water heater started leaking the week I moved in and the floor drain underneath it was clogged! American Home Shield sent a local plumber who got the drain unglogged and water heater replaced the next day!

Our dishwasher was starting while the door was open. It was not draining and there was water in the overflow basin in the bottom. Submitting a claim through the AHS website worked fine. I was informed via email and text message that a contractor would be assigned and would be contacting me for follow-up. The company contacted me promptly the following day and they came out the day after that and resolved the problem very well. They restored service to the dishwasher which was a happy thing. We have a fairly old house. So abo... read more

GE Appliances came out for two different appliances. The first one, there was nothing wrong with the appliance, it was something that we had done, so no issues. The second one, we have water in our refrigerator. When you press the water, the water was leaking down the bottom. The pipe down the bottom was cracked so they had to replace the pipe. The service of American Home Shield is okay. They get things fixed. Sometimes, I don't hear from anybody for a while but eventually, they get stuff done. I like that they also let me ... read more
