Our disposal quit working 2 days before leaving town. AHS provided a company that could come do the repair but was not able to meet our timeline. A call back to AHS to request another company was required and they were able to send someone out the next day. Disposal all fixed in a timely manner thanks to American Home Shield providing us with an alternative.
I was having a leaking faucet that I've tried to repair somewhat on my own and just wasn't working so American Home Shield sent Kintex Plumbing out. The gentleman was great. He came in and fixed it. Submitting claims online is pretty simple to get through. Most of the stuff can be handled there. AHS will force one contractor, initially, and I hear a lot of people complain that they can't choose their own service provider. Maybe people don't know about this, but they can click on it, look really close to it, there's a little down arrow, and it'll give up to the first five. When calling, it rolls and cycles. The first time that Sancho Services came out, the stopper was jammed and wouldn’t release. They didn't completely clear it and they came out the second time. They were very nice, very polite, and went right to work. They took care of it and everything's working fine now. I have AHs for going on 10 years now and so far, I have had good results every time. American Home Shield seems pretty reliable and they take care of our problem. I'm happy with it. The contractor who came out for the air conditioner was very helpful and he got everything fixed that day. They took care of the problem in a timely manner. So far, so good, but I'll let them know if something happens.
I like everything about American Home Shield. I’m getting older and it's easy for me to just call knowing a contractor can come out and do the work and be professional. They come the very next day or couple of days later. I did a service request when my AC wouldn't click and didn't turn on. But when the tech from Union Express came out, it started working. Drain Masters did a great job and American Home Shield did what they were suspose to do to set up plumber....There was a delay in getting it fix....about 9 days but this was not an emergency...plumber came out..saw what I said was wrong and waited for AHS to approve buth then Drain masters was backed up 4 days
We had a problem with our bathroom fan. Called AHS and they had me set up with an electrician who came out about a week after I had made the initial contact. He was quick and thorough. My husband was pleasantly surprised.
I had a claim with AHS for my AC and it was handled accordingly and in a timely fashion. I was very pleased. My most recent claim was for my washing machine that wasn't working. A tech came out and said the parts that needed to be fixed. It took about a week before he heard back. Then, he scheduled a date he would be coming out and he did and repaired the washing machine.
