We felt like there was a blown fuse and we weren't able to get the power back. All the electrical outlets stopped working and everything was shut down. We called in a claim with AHS and everything went smoothly with their reps. They gave us a time and date, and the electrician showed up on time. He came in and replaced the fuse in the box. There was a line broken from the street to our home and we were without water for about four weeks. It was faulty material. We had over $2,000 worth of water bills. It was horrendous. American Home Shield dispatched Crystal Clear Plumbing Professionals immediately. They were terrific. Everything performed very fine, except for we were never reimbursed for it. Arkey Locksmith did a good job. He was here on time and he was professional. He knew how to do all the locks and it didn't take him that long to do everything. The online service with American Home Shield as far as getting the claim set up was a little bit confusing. It wouldn't set up my account, so I had to go in with my code number that I had the policy. Their online thing needs some adjustments. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Tri-City Appliance went out to two different addresses. I had a problem with my refrigerator and my stove and they were able to fix that right away and everything's running fine. They’re very professional. Then they went twice to another one of my locations in Grovewood. They had to order a part and they went back to it. Everything went good. The guy who helped me out, William, was really good. Felicia, the person I usually talk to on the phone, was really nice too.
I called American Home Shield to file a claim on the air conditioning that wasn't working. When the contractor was here, there was no unnecessary talking. He fixed the problem. He tested it, and he left. He had the part in hand, so it was very efficient. The only thing is because of the weather,it took three weeks for him to show up. But they did tell us that it is going to take long because of the long backlogs. We had a heatwave at that time.
I had AHS do my oven and my dryer. I submitted the claim online and they got back with me right away. Then, the tech came out within the next few days and he had to come back because he had to order a part. But the issues got fixed in a timely manner and everything is working good still. AHS has been great so far and I've been telling people that doesn't have the warranty to get it.
Very pleased with outcome! I am very happy that I chose American Hime Shield as my warranty company! So far, everything I need repaired or problem solved was taken care of on the 1st visit.
The air conditioner wasn't working properly. It wasn't cooling. I did a service request to American Home Shield through email. I logged in and did a service request and then it automatically told me the contractor that was assigned. I do like that feature that tells me within seconds who's being assigned to the service request. American Home Shield's contractors are good. We live in Northern Idaho. Had a problem with our HVAC unit. Contacted American Home Shield and now we are keeping cool in the hot weather and will be warm and cozy this coming winter.
