It takes a couple of days before you find out who is gonna come when you call American Home Shield. Fortunately, for our induction cooktop claim with Attwoods, I was notified that day. I had Home Shield for quite a few years when I first bought my house. I was really happy with the service but I couldn't use it. Most of my appliances were on a warranty, so I dropped them. But as soon as I thought to myself that it has come to the time where a lot of things were off the warranties again, I went straight to them. The AC unit itself wouldn't turn on. I could hear it try but it wouldn't kick on. It turned out to be a pretty simple repair. The guy was here five minutes and replaced the part and off he went. I've been with American Home Shield for 12 years now and I'm happy with the process overall. Sometimes there are contractor issues, but not much overall. It works for what it is. They're pretty generous about their repairs and what happens. It's always been a good value for me year in and year out to have the product.
The AC stopped working. It wasn't turning on or cooling. I filed a claim to American Home Shield and the Sierra people were able to come out pretty quickly. The turnaround time was pretty good and they were able to fix the issue on the same day that they came out. As far as claim submission, everything goes fine mostly. Ace Heating & Cooling came was one of the best that has ever come out. The outside unit had stopped running and their technician took five minutes to find out what it was and fixed it. He was very courteous. I would always wanna do business with this company. Everything is good now. Most of the things in my house are new. But I keep American Home Shield for peace of mind. When anything happens, I don't have to go out there to look for somebody to come and fix it. They already have their contractors and so far, so good.
It's been fantastic with American Home Shield and they have been timely at getting back to us. We haven't always been happy with who they've chosen to send, but always happy with Home Shield solving it. We had Vector Appliances out here and they took an appliance apart in my front yard. Then after they've been out there monkeying around with it for a long time, they said they had to get another part because it was not just the bearing. I called American Home Shield for a toilet that was running and one that didn’t work at all. The contractor came within a reasonable timeframe. He was absolutely thorough and explained everything to me so that I understood what was wrong, what he was doing, and why he was doing it. It was great. I'm very satisfied with American Home Shield.
A technician was scheduled 2 weeks from our date of making an appointment, but when the two electricians showed, they were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and willing to handle all assigned jobs.
Sears fixed our refrigerator and they handled everything correctly and excellently. The claims submission with Home Shield is very simple and they keep good contact with us. They’re doing a great job.
