Refrigerant leak in Central Air, Compressor was beyond repair, AHS would only pay to replace refridgerant @ $10/lb, and not offset some of the cost for replacement compressor.
So far I have made two claims. One fixed my air conditioner and the other checked for a problem with the toilets. Both were friendly and courteous. The repair to the air conditioner would have been expensive without the home warranty so it has already paid for itself!

It is okay. They did replace our water heater but we still had to pay 600 dollars for the parts that connect the water heater. I really hate who they contract with locally. It’s usually some business that no one has heard of and has crappy reviews.
I gave my money in good faith but they do not lean on the contractors to get the job done. It took a month to have a breaker replaced.
Good service ,and some items if they can't fix it they replace it

They use to be a much better customer service for the ploicy holder. The last thing needed is to wait 7-10 days for a reply on your repair request. I have been with them for over 35 years. This last water damaged drain line, the company sent made and left a mess.
We had a recent air conditioning problem and the contracting HVAC shop was contacted by AHS, their automated system is much improved and covers many types of discrepancies
