Submitting a claim for my appliance issue to American Home Shield was super easy. I just went online and clicked a few things. My unit has been great since their contractor True Vine Appliance came out. AHS has provided prompt service to me so far.

I love American Home Shield. The guy was on time and he was really good at getting the job done. I thought that the hot water heater had went out, but it turns out that the breaker had flipped when the storm hit. He told me what the problem was and he fixed it quite quickly.

The two outlets in my kitchen weren't working and I couldn't figure out why. We had a tech come out and he located that it was a breaker in the closet. I didn't turn it all the way off and then turn it back on, that was why it didn’t work for me. After that, everything came back up and worked perfectly fine. The tech also showed me how to work it. He was on point and very professional. He knew what he was doing and he answered all of my questions. Every time I put a claim in, everybody that has come out is very professional.... read more

I just bought the house, and I've had some electricians and plumbers here. Someone had turned off the water to the dishwasher, which I did not know, and it wasn't filling. Being 77 and I can't get down and look underneath the cabinet because I can't get down on my knees, I didn't know they had turned off the water. The contractor that was sent by American Home Shield immediately found out what the problem was. All they had to do was turn the water on. That took care of the problem. They were very nice and gracious. They didn... read more

A's Appliance Repair came out the first time and they just sprayed the microwave down with some cleaner. They left and then that night, it started doing the same issue, it was like sparking. We called them back and told them what happened. They came back out two days later and took our microwave back to their shop, cleaned it, replaced the part, and brought it back. It's been working fine since. They wore a mask and they gave me a call 30 minutes before they came out. They were very punctual and professional.I like the fact ... read more

We\'ve had AHS for almost 3 years now and have called upon them about 4 times. I\'m always amazed at their quick response and the quality of the people they send. Absolutely no complaints. I look it as I do house insurance; you don\'t really want to use it but it\'s an investment in a disaster, such as needing a new refrigerator or other big appliance. They\'ve earned our trust, which is not easy these days.

My air conditioner stopped working and the tech sent by American Home Shield who came to look at it didn't tell me what the cost was exactly. I had already paid $100 to AHS to have that tech come out and then he was saying the whole repair was gonna cost $900 because I had to pay for the Freon. It was better for me to get a new unit instead so I had that priced. AHS offered me $700 for a new unit which cost me over $7,000. That was disappointing as one way, it would cost me $1,000 if I go with AHS but then the other way, it ... read more

Submitting a claim to American Home Shield regarding my refrigerator was very easy. Accord Appliance came on their behalf and the young techs from there wore masks and maintained their distance. They were also very professional and thorough. They repaired my refrigerator and it has been perfect since then. As usual, AHS's techs did a good job for me. Most of the people they contract with are well qualified.

The fan on the air conditioner wasn't blowing, and then the air wasn't coming out. We called American Home Shield for a claim. The contractor was a nice person and he explained to me everything I asked him. He had to put a thing in there to catch the lint. He was good. He listened to whatever I asked him. But the fan ain't blowing again now. I don't know whether I should call back about this or not. Other than that, I recommend American Home Shield and I already did. Last week, someone I know was calling about a stove. So, I... read more
