we have been members of AHS for decades and every time, we have an issue in our homes, the staff at AHS are extremely helpful, friendly, professional and always willing to go the extra mile to help us with our home issues.
I was having difficulty doing the claim online because I didn't have my contract number. I did a call-in because I had two different problems, plumbing and AC. I did one the one way and did the other the other way, and both of them were quick and easy. With the AC, the overflow thing was leaking, which it shouldn't. Doctor Cool put a fan motor on our AC. It took a while for it to cool off. It finally cooled off and two days later, it got hot again. So they came out and put a bigger fan motor on. Now, it has been fine ever since. The guys from Doctor Cool are very good and knowledgeable. I feel very good with American Home Shield.
The first time the tech came out, the safety switch on the washer wasn't activating properly, so he fixed it. Then a few weeks later, it was fully broken. So he came out, assessed the issue and gave us a temporary fix. He came out yesterday to install a new switch. He was awesome. He had his mask and his booties. He kept to himself besides talking with me to kind of diagnose the issue. It was great. American Home Shield sent J-R's Water Well Service, and they had to replace the pump. It works good now. The claims process with American Home Shield was fairly easy. Our experience was very good.
I did a service request online for American Home Shield for the maintenance of my air conditioner. I got assigned a local contractor but they couldn't see me until the next Friday. I'm Las Vegas and with my AC not working, it was hot. I knew I could get an earlier appointment with another company so I tried to do that. Unfortunately, there were some managerial changes that made it so that the person whom I was speaking with at AHS was unable to change the work over to the company I wanted. American Home Shield was recommended by our Realtor. Reporting a claim to them was pretty easy. I figured out what to do pretty fast and everything went along pretty smoothly. I had a claim for rekeying and they sent Ameri-Tech Locksmiths. The contractor showed up on time. He asked me what I wanted to do. He was professional as well. He was a really nice guy. I will use him again.
Submitting the request was amazingly easy online! A contractor telephoned within less than a hour to schedule a visit for my issues. Which was scheduled for the next day. The day of the appointment the technician called to let me know he was enroute. And arrived in timely manner shortly after our phone conversation. The AC wasn't cooling the house. We've had three different visits. My lady was there when the first guy came out. She said that he was rather quick with his service in determining what the problem may be. We had to schedule another appointment for the problem to be addressed. We had a different gentleman that came out. I thought that gentleman was rather professional. He seemed to know what he was doing with the repair.
