I like American Home Shield. My recent claim with them was for a washer and dryer. They found somebody quickly and got somebody in. I was very pleased with the contractor that they went with. I was very surprised. He was very knowledgeable, was very quick to assess what the problem was and knew exactly what to do. He was in and out and very respectful too. I had a really great experience with American Home Shield.

I've had a couple claims and I've been more than pleased. I've always called over the phone, gotten a live person, and told them what the problem was. When I called American Home Shield for the pool filter though, it was after hours and I could only give one choice, but there were two issues I needed fixed. I debated about it and I had to make a second claim. We’ve been with Home Shield for years and we canceled then reestablished their services. The only difficulty that we've been having is that my mother who has been paying for the monthly charge feels like there's something going on that she's getting charged $60 a month twice for a few months now. But I love Home Shield. The recent claim took a little longer than what I thought because they needed a mortar, but everything was okay after that.

Gary is awesome. He got the water tank taken out, and the new one was put in. He was quick and we have hot water now. I've had bad experiences in the past, but this time was a little different. I called the 800 number when I had water on my garage. There was a crack and since I sell the stuff for a living, it helped that I knew the contractors American Home Shield had. I was able to get Ready Services to come out quicker than normal and they were able to come that Saturday. I’ve known them a long time and they're good people... read more

The garbage disposal was broken. I submitted a claim via the phone app of AHS. It was super easy. The technicians were able to fix the issue. Now, it works fine thus far.

AT Appliances came out for our microwave. They had masks on and they were on-time and very professional. They had to come back a few times, but they fixed it. It was also easy to get the claim processed and for someone to come out and take care of it. You just go on the website, log in, and that's it.

I called American Home Shield because there was condensation on the unit. The gentleman that came out was wonderful. He addressed the issue and he fixed it the same day. So everything was great with that. I did a claim on my water line to my house, which they got a plumber out, but nobody told me that it wouldn't be covered under the warranty at the time that I placed it. I wished they would have told me upfront that it wasn't covered. But they still got me hooked up with a fabulous plumbing company.I also had a claim with a... read more

I sent a claim in with Home Shield for my AC and Mountain Heating & Cooling scheduled for one week, but then somebody called in sick so they had to reschedule. But it went great. The tech came out and he looked around. I told him what the problem was. He pulled out the filter, which I didn't even know was there, and said I don't need the filter because I have the other two. He said it should take care of the problem and it did. Home Shield was very reliable and they were fast.

I called Home Shield and spoke with someone regarding a service request. It was a very easy making the request. They gave me Lake Plumbing as my contractor. It was simple and quick.
