The contractors came out for my AC. They explained to me what the issue was and they repaired it. They told me what I could probably do in the future to prevent it from reoccurring. The communication was perfect. They gave me a heads up this person would be calling when he was about 30 minutes out. It was flawless. The AC was leaking. One of the lines there was clogged. The guy who came out was very good. He was there on time, had his mask on and got everything done. Everything went well. This is the only time I've used American Home Shield and so far, so good. I called them and the claims process was very simple.
Hall's HVAC finally came out. They were fixing to do something to fix it then it would start messing up like the way it was in a couple of days. This is the third recall. The first time, it was probably a couple of days and then a day. This time, it's been probably about four days. American Home Shield has been sending out the same contractor. With the beginning of summer, I tried keeping my house cool but it would not cool down. So, I put in a request to American Home Shield and their contractor Double D Heating came out to handle it. The techs had to replace an expensive piece and did things to get my unit up and going again immediately. Since they came, the unit has been great. When I had my AHS Warranty, it was very handy and made things quick and easy. The parts ad the labor would have been more than AHS' $40 or $50 charge.
The refrigerator went out. I did a claim to Home Shield. It was all right, but it just takes so long to get anybody when you call them. The service was good outside that. The contractor who came out was very nice. He knew what to do. The fridge has been running fine since he's been out.
Both times that I used AHS were a positive experience. It was very easy to get online and order a call, and after that, the texting and keeping me informed was good. It was more than I expected. We had a really short visit from ASAP Plumbing and they were professional. They fixed the issue very quickly.
