J&S All Tech came when our air conditioning unit went out and the service was great. One day, it was blowing cool then it got a little warmer and then it started to blow hot air. I thought it was an easy fix, but when the tech came initially, I wasn't there. My boyfriend was there, so he explained to my boyfriend that the compressor was out. In my dining room, I have a switch that was a dimmer for our light that's in the ceiling. I had the light on and at one point, it made this popping sound then it became really bright. I turned it off right away and I assumed there was an electrical problem or the switch. I spoke to somebody and explained about the claim. I was supposed to hear within 24 hours to set something up. I got on the computer and filed a claim to American Home Shield. The contractors came out and they diagnosed the air conditioner. They said the coil was leaking inside and they took care of it. They fixed everything and everything's working great. However, I would like to have a place where I could select the preferred person when I submit a claim with AHS. I didn't see that on there. Home Shield was referred by a family member. All I did was request for the service call since I joined Home Shield. We did everything online. That was very simple. The condensation from the machine leaves some water on the inside the machine, which gives this error message. And it shuts down the machine completely so we get no hot water. Usually, what we have to do is to unplug the machine for a couple of days. And then, once it dries out, you plug it back in and it works again. Everyday Heating and Cooling is the one that always comes out for my AC claims and they are awesome. They say when they’re gonna be here and they're gonna be here. They tell you the step by step what they're doing. They let you know what's going on, what problems there are, and what they have fixed. We had to have Freon and we paid part of it. My first experience with American Home Shield was great. My garbage disposal wasn't working so I called it in. AA Twins Plumbing came out and everything went well. The technicians greeted me and they told me who they were. They told me about the problem and they fixed it. The dishwasher is working great.
We called them when the dishwasher didn't work. I spoke to somebody and they did what I needed. Sears came out and they were fine. The dishwasher is working.
I have two policies with American Home Shield and they've been good to us. We got them when we bought this house two years ago in South Carolina and I've had their contractors out a few times. When the heater was bad, they fixed it. I also got a new dishwasher that went bad and I had no problems with them. Recently, May Heating and Air came and they were great. I had Home Shield in 2005 and left them and went to another place. Then, I came back to them because the service was not the same with the new place I tried. The claim submission is pretty easy. I go online and put my information in there. I had a plumbing issue and I put it in the system. I paid my money online and they sent someone out. Water Control Plumbing called me within 30 minutes.
