Scheduling the appointment through American Home Shield was a little more cumbersome than I expected. A part of it was because I had two appliances. But I was told to wait until I accumulated two things 'causee it would be $75 each time. I was tired of not having water in the refrigerator, and if the dishwasher wasn't going to get the dishes cleaned, then I'd need a new dishwasher. The part of the AC that take the water out was clogged somehow. Liberty Plumbing cleaned it relatively quickly and it started working again. They fixed it in about an hour. When I sent in the claim, Liberty was here the next day. It was all very quick. AHS is a good service. I'm still keeping it.
The claims have been processed on my behalf from these vendors. They've been out here for a couple different systems that they worked on, and I've had good results so far. With improvement in a couple different small areas, American Home Shield could get better. One of my appliances has to be replaced and I have to wait for three hours on the phone to get someone on their system. There's no feature to have them call me back. I had two sinks that were draining slowly. One was because of the way the drain line was routed from the air conditioner into the sink. It also had algae growing in the pipes. The technician cleaned it out and it works great. He told me what to do if it starts slowing down again. Then, the other sink was a hair clog from the previous owner who did not do any maintenance in their life. The technician cleaned that out too and so all is good. I love American Home Shield. I’ve had it for years. I had my refrigerator taken care of recently. When I moved back into my home, there was a leak. When the contractor came out, I stood there and watched him pull the centerpiece with it where the light is. He saw that it was clogged and it was very dirty. He did that and just last Thursday, it started to leak again and there’s water at the base. We have been with AHSW for 16 years - they are fabulous . They promptly connect you to the right service provider and get your home problem taken care of. They must carefully vet who to do business with, because in my 16 years of various problems from plumbing to ac to heat to water heater to appliances, I've been assigned various companies and they have ALL been superb. AHSW is a great company to give you peace of mind about expenses that come up with your most costly asset - your home.
The air conditioner was not working. A fuse was out, there was a leak somewhere outside, and it was blowing hot air inside the home. A-US Air Conditioning of Texas came over and looked at everything, inside and out. That was the second time I requested them. 2020 has been a tough year! AHS has made it better! My refrigerator went on the blink. Among other things! And AHS has been there to help make things right. I appreciate that!
Efficiency Experts did a very good job. They had masks and they stayed far enough away from me. They were very careful when they came in and out. Everything's great and it's a lot cooler in my home. I'm comfortable.
