Our AC unit wouldn't turn off and it was not making cold air. I had somebody else out to do maintenance on it and when the AC wasn't working, they came back out to check it because they had just been out there the day before. America Home Shield provides fast and efficient service. Unlike the last warranty company I was with, AHS doesn't require that you find a contractor for the service you need, they do that for you which is a great relief to me.

It was running hotter in my house. I usually have my AC on 70 or 71. So eventually, I would have to replace it. I just wanted to make sure that was being maintained correctly because I’ve only been in the house a year and a half. I chose American Home Shield years ago for the price and I have no complaints when it comes to submitting claims. The technician from Higginbottom's Heat & AC came out for the AC unit and I liked him. He was very responsive and resolved the problem immediately.
When I saw American Home Shield somewhere, I saw that it would save me money on repairs. I couldn't come out of my pocket with all those different things that may break down in the house. Recently, I called them because I had some problem with a light fixture in my kitchen. I talked to an actual representative who was professional. It was great customer service. The contractor took care of the issue and did an exceptional job. The repair helped tremendously. I got better light in my kitchen.
We stopped getting hot water. It took three days for K And S Plumbing to come out after I filed the claim online. I did get a response immediately but we were three days without hot water. We turned off the gas on the water heater. I told the technician what happened and he said the pilot wasn’t lit. He just had to relight it. I told him that we didn't want gas to be leaking since gas was going through it. But he lit it and he said that it was fine. There was nothing wrong with the water heater. Very satisfied with AHS; for the money, I believe it's a good deal.
Great company, also came thru with a great contractors - I have had two issues , one with my heating ,air system , one with my oven, both were repaired promptly and professionally with know companies in my area. I would recommend American Home Shield!
