I've been a part of American Home Shield ever since I bought this house in 2001 and it has been without a break this whole time. My Realtor suggested that I get the coverage and I have been okay with it. So far, this warranty has been money well-spent. When we couldn't turn our water heater back on because the pilot went out, I used the online system to file a request. It was easy to use and I didn't have any trouble. We were matched up within 24 hours and then I was able to contact the plumber and he came out here later that day. I have two properties with American Home Shield. They protect my parents' home and then for my home, I've had them for least two to three years. I'm a female and I don't have anybody to do repairs for me, so that's what made it worth it. For my first time using American Home Shield, the process seemed fine and it was smooth. It was all online which was super easy. But there was a problem that occurred where they pushed the service out to a company that doesn’t do that work. Every season I have to make trouble calls because the AC stops working. When it wasn’t blowing out cool air, I called Home Shield and the contractor was timely. It didn't take them very long to get the work done. Also, the tech was courteous. The AC is blowing out cool air now. I've been satisfied.

We moved and we started coverage in May. There was a time when our air conditioning was making a vibrating noise and it was loud enough to where we could hear it in our master bedroom through the wall from the outside. The technician who came to service it was fantastic and we really liked him. We got his contact information where after the warranty, he said to call him and he’d make sure that we got taken care of. One of my circuit breakers kept tripping, but it wasn’t damaged in the panel. I had had a power outage and I had a water cooler that was causing it to trip because it had shorted out. American Home Shield sent Elite Electrical Solutions and a guy came out and checked the panel. He said it wasn’t the circuit breaker. He’s very friendly and very professional.
