American Home Shield was able to send out the contractor within less than 24 hours. The technician from Paragon Mechanical was quick and very knowledgeable. He wore a face mask and kept six feet distance. He also briefly told me what was going on. Everything went very well on this AC claim.
I sent in a claim online for the AC and then someone called me. I needed a new condenser and the contractor got it for me the next day. So they were very efficient. They got the part and fixed the AC in a day or two. My experience with AHS has been great. They're wonderful. I've passed them along to one person who called them and got their service.
My range is a Whirlpool. It has an electronic board where you click to start the oven. That pad had malfunctioned so it was blank. I could click and hear the clicks, but there was no light. Thank you for the reliable and professional service and repair that I have counted on for the past decade! I highly recommend AHS to all home owners for a peace of mind on costly repairs for less than a few dollars a day! This warranty has saved me thousands of dollars on repairs and I would not own a property without it!
I had an AC issue and AHS sent Greenway Heating Cooling. The first service call didn't take care of the problem and it was a leak that I had. They filled the AC with coolant but then it ran out so a week later, I had to call again, and they came back out and took care of it.
An old valve corroded where you couldn't open it or close it and it sprung a leak. I sent in a claim and they replaced it. The tech who came out was a really nice guy. We've been in this home for roughly two and a half years and for the most part, I call Home Shield and they send somebody out, so it works just fine.
This time, I've had American Home Shield since last October and before then, I had them for a couple of years. They have been okay, but I had to go back and do the same thing again with some of the things that I wanted done. One time, my unit wasn't operating correctly. It wasn't giving out as much ice as it should have and it operated for about 30 days, then it quit. I used American Home Shield for my rental properties. Their deductible was too high but other than that, the service was good. More recently, I had a plumbing issue and AHS sent One Source Plumbing Services. There was an O-ring or a valve in my rental's main faucet that had gone awry. The tech got the part and did what he needed to do to replace it. During the two days I was there, the faucet was working fine.
Drain Go was very, very professional. They were knowledgeable on what they were doing. I will recommend them anytime. I've had AHS for about six months and I had claims with them and the companies came right out promptly. They were consistent. The difficulty lies with COVID-19 with the short staff and answering the phone on time. Besides that, it was perfect.
