Everything went well with High Priority. They fixed the issue and they did it quickly. The guy had to go out to Lowe's or Home Depot and get the part ‘cause he said they didn’t carry it on their truck. But he came right back. From the time he came, assessed the problem and went out to the store, it was no more than an hour or two. He had his mask on too. I filed a claim when there was a leak in a pipe in my tub. The company came out and fixed it real quick. Everything worked great. It was very easy to file the claim. The website is very easy to use and their response time was pretty immediate.
We've been with American Home Shield for about 15 years. We own a condo in Laughlin and we have a renter in it. The tenants contact my property manager, and they submit the claim to American Home Shield. We live in California and if something breaks, we can't be right there to fix it. We were happy with AHS, so we stuck with them. I was happy with their service and their guys were trustworthy.
I've had American Home Shield for a couple of years now and their response time is really good when I send in a claim. Anytime something happens, I have their phone number on my phone and I just call them. It's an automated system and I don't have any problems getting through. Someone will usually contact me on the same day or the next day. But when the coil in my AC unit went out, AHS did not replace it with the same brand name unit that I had so I was very unhappy about it. I felt like I got a substandard replacement.
Home Shield was very responsive. We called in our claim on a Thursday or Friday and set it up by Monday. That time of the season, we consider that very good response for an air conditioner. Also, Hansen was great.
I called the home warranty for my fridge claim. Installz Plus came out and looked at it. Then they came in and ordered the wrong part. They said they're gonna come back with the correct one but they haven't come back yet. Nonetheless, American Home Shield is great. They take care of the situation for you.
American Team came out for our AC and we love them. We've had them multiple times for different calls and they were always great. The person who scheduled the service was very, very professional. She was very, very nice and very good. We love Gus, who is one of their senior people. We usually will wait for him if he was not available. But he wasn't available today because he got hurt so they sent someone else. The person came out and he quickly diagnosed the problem. Flushers Refrigeration did a really good job. However, I did have a problem when I filed the claim to American Home Shield. It said to call them 'cause it was a Saturday when it happened. The number that was there was not their emergency number. When it's 115 on one day, you can't live without an AC. It's too hot in the house. That was a problem but it wasn't with them. I was having a kitchen renovation and my contractor was up in the attic. He noticed that the drain pan for the air conditioner was full. He told me it shouldn't be like that. It was overflowing and coming out the soffit of the house, which is perforated and it's okay for stuff to come out of it. But it shouldn't be doing that either.
