Initially I had a bad experience, but overall american shield has been great. In our rural area it's hard to find plumbers, electricians, appliance repair, etc. American Home has their home contractors and I don't have to wait weeks or months for someone to get here.

Home Shield responded promptly to my problem, put on a work order, and someone came to my home and fixed the problem.

Because the first contractor assigned for the refrigerator was terrible and AHS would NOT listen to me and consequently it took me nearly 3 months to get the refrigerator taken care of.
Very prompt in finding and solving my issues in my home.
