AHS is an insurance policy. I signed up with them to have the coverage and not to go out buying brand new right away. There was a problem with the stove. It was a fuse and the circuit wasn't set properly. The technician that AHS sent out was great. He went for the panel and tried a couple of things. I always like American Home Shield's service. It's always super quick. Not even 10 minutes, and you get a response from them. Their claim process is very easy. We don't really do much. They take care of it. They sent Eagle Air out for our AC unit. They were great. The technician was super nice and helpful. The problem wasn't with the AC unit, but it was an electric problem. We use American Home Shield all the time and we pretty much like who then send out, for the most part. They seemed to get it done. So it's a good value and we will continue to use it. The plumber that they sent out was good and we liked him. We had a stoppage in the sink and he fixed it on the same day. So far, everything has been good.
I had a light fixture that was out and my ceiling fan was not working. The technician from RJ Wiggins came in and he was so friendly. He went on in there, saw the problem, and then handled it just fine. Submitting the claim with Home Shield was simple and easy but because of COVID, it took a long time before I got someone on the phone. Other than that, I had no other issues.
My ice maker on the refrigerator stopped working. I went online and submitted the claim with AHS and their website was very easy to use. This is the second time that Miller Appliance and Repair came out. The first time they came out was for my heater. Their technician was very professional. I asked him to wear a mask and he had no problem doing it. Everything has been functioning perfectly. I recommended AHS to my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law.
I know nothing about maintenance and that’s why I got American Home Shield. I don’t have anybody to fix stuff around here. I'm a girl, girl. My experiene was outstanding. I called to request service and was given a response right away. I was given a company to handle my repairs and a customer number. By the time I hung up from requesting service the company was calling to see what day was available for them to come to service my item. AHS is wonderful and the copay is unbelivable.
Our air conditioning would run for a while then stop completely. Sometimes, it would be hours before it would come back on. Vail Heating and Cooling was the company sent out and they came very promptly. We appreciated it very much. They seemed competent and our air conditioner has been working fine since yesterday. I'm very pleased. The only thing is now with the COVID-19, it's very difficult sometimes to get in touch with American Home Shield by telephone.
My cold water in my shower wasn't shutting off all the way. American Home Shield responded right away and got the referral going on the same day. Then I got a call back and it went really good. The guy from Advanced Home Services was really professional and he did a good job.
