It was our first experience. They were professional. I got the email in a timely manner.
My sink was clogged up prior to me closing on the house. So I had to call AHS to send someone out to get it fixed. I filed the claim with the rep, paid the deductible, and she scheduled someone to come out right away. It was pretty easy to do. The contractor came and they did a great job. They were very friendly and very professional. It was a good experience.
Perfect Temp was sent for our AC unit. The condenser was dirty and their tech cleaned it out pretty thoroughly. Then as far as poor airflow stairs, he said that the nature of the ductwork itself is being too narrow to reach the upper level. That wasn't something that they could take care of in a service call but he did a pretty thorough cleaning and it helped quite a bit. I thought it was a good service call. Pretty simple and straightforward. It's the only time that we've used AHS and it's going well.
We've had two different contractors. The very first one was on our kitchen stove. I wasn't impressed with them because they came out and the tech said, "Well, I gotta go see if we can find the parts for it." Three days went by but I didn't hear anything from anybody. I called Home Shield and they said, "Well, he hasn't even turned anything in to us." Air Design came out recently and they were excellent. Our AC went out and it was kinda after hours so I called them that next morning once I got their number from American Home Shield. They sent someone over that same day and they showed up early. I kinda like to know what’s going on so the guy explained that. He was thorough. He even checked other stuff. He was in and out in probably less than an hour and everything’s been good since.
Dr. Cool came out to fix my air conditioning. It was a good experience. I called American Home Shield to file the claim and I was told to expect the contractors out in the next two days. The repair made things much easier. Since we're using Home Shield, I didn't have to worry about a big bill expense. I knew what I was gonna pay upfront. Home Shield is a good product.
