The AC unit stopped up and the guy from Moore Air came out. He was good and professional, and he resolved the issue. I liked his personality. I feel fine with American Home Shield until I found out that my freezer went out and they said they don’t cover freezers. I thought all the appliances were covered, but they say they not. Overall they cover the basics but their companies may not be as quick in finalizing the fix as a homeowner would like. I literally had a AC issue with prior issues of slow leak of refrigerant that caused issues. The truck shows up after 3 to 4 days of scheduling time with no refrigerant to refill the AC with. They we waited another 3 to 4 days for them to return. Overall, we were about 3 weeks without AC during the summer months. I've received excellent service from them.
I've been very impressed by the service from Home Shield and they’ve been very reliable so far. I submit a claim, they give me a time frame and the date, and normally, the contractor will be out the next day. What they advertise is pretty much what you get when they come in to fix it. A couple of times I have used it, it was very helpful. The tech from Nova HVAC they sent out for my AC claim was very professional. The control switch had worn out so he had to come back a week later and replace it. They scheduled between 8:00 ... read more
They are quick to send someone out and if an item can't be fixed they replace
I feel very good about the contractor that came out for our AC unit. Their person was very professional. He knew what he was doing. There was ice coming up in the fan. Then when he took it out, the fan was fried. He fixed the problem and fixed it well. I feel very confident. It’s been great. I haven’t had any issues since he came out.
