When Myers came out, they couldn't do the job. They told me what was wrong with the unit that I had. American Home Shield had to get somebody else to do the job, but I've always used Myers. I have no problem with them. An electrician from another company came out and he fixed the problem. It was the air conditioner. When I submitted my claim regarding my fridge to American Home Shield, their contractor Colorado Residential Services came out the next day. The techs were good but they couldn't do anything to my fridge as it was still under warranty. They helped us and tried to call to make sure we got through to LG Warranty.
There was a leak where the pipes connect to the water heater and Kintex Plumbing came out. Everything worked out really well and the tenants were very happy. We had good comments with the service. This is the first time we've used American Home Shield and it worked out so well. The service was quick, easy and convenient. I bought a new policy for the place where I'm staying now too.
The internal blower of the AC wasn't working and Action Repair Service handled it well. They were great. We had a contractor for appliances and it wasn't the best. They looked at the items, said they were not covered and then walked out and left. We let American Home Shield know. They're very proactive on those things and they scheduled a follow up with another company, who was able to resolve the issue.
There was a part that was broken inside the heater. It had something to do with the heating thermostat or mechanism in there 'cause the heater wouldn't come up to speed. I just called American Home Shield and they put me in touch with the vendor. Once they scheduled the repair with the Maui Pool Service, they took over. Maui diagnosed the problem but they didn't have this part on their truck, so they ordered it. It took them about a week to get that and then they came out and fixed it. The AC pipes weren't sealed properly so the water was drizzling out slow enough that it accumulated over time. The tech from Airmax was very professional. He ended up having to come back a second time to verify things. He put in the time and he did a good job. I wanna keep my warranty with Home Shield. It's a great insurance policy to have.
The AC system had turned off completely. A & R Complete Service came out and reset something up in the attic on it, and it worked. Then it got really hot here and the AC wasn't performing. So they came out and they said the system froze up because there wasn't enough Freon in it. We had to shut the system off for a day. They came back out and topped off the Freon. American Home Shield provides excellent service and a great value.
I filed an AC claim with Home Shield online and then, I got an email that Reep's Air & Refrigeration would call. They did and their tech was out the following day. I was very satisfied with the timeframe and the tech was very good and professional. He went up the attic and checked something. He replaced a part, added some Freon, and got the job done. We haven't had any more trouble with the AC unit since.
