Someone from Sears came out a day after I made my claim to American Home Shield. The claim was for my refrigerator and the process was easy. The tech who came was great. The fridge has been great since then. I like American Home Shield and I would recommend them. They're not perfect, but they are almost.
Everything went well when Searle’s Appliance came out for my dryer. They were real quick and courteous. The guy had to change the heat element the same day he came out and the dryer is working better than it was working before. I'm very impressed by American Home Shield.
We had a clog. We have a sink in the garage and The Lindsay Company came out and they did that. We also had a diverter in the bathroom upstairs that wasn't working so they replaced that. I notified American Home Shield about the issues through the website. It was very easy to use. We logged in, we set it up, and then The Lindsay Company was assigned. The guy from Tom Melton Services was really nice and did a good job. He was in and out. In fact, he went above and beyond because he found a leak that I didn't know was there and he went on and fixed it too. He said he couldn't leave that unfixed. He did more than what I even knew was wrong with what I had. I kept this phone number in my phone directory just in case because if I ever have any plumbing issues, and I have to call American Shield again, I hope they send the same plumber. My burners were not coming on and the claim was handled wonderfully. The contractor took about 48 hours to get here and fix it. I’ve been with American Home Shield for about six months and this was my first claim with them. It was a good experience and I was very satisfied.
I am NOT one to laud false praise, in fact, I’m generally the one to see issues and call them out, however, with AHS I cannot praise them highly enough! They have saved me thousands and they’ve made fixing issues so easy. I chose them after asking a friend who repairs appliances what comp y he’d recommend, and he immediately said AHS. They never argue a repair or replacement, and they make sure everything is done to my satisfaction. I would sing their praises to the world if I could!
I’ve had American Home Shield for a full year now and I like having that one fee to pay for any issues I might have. Recently, the tech from Mason Mechanical came out for our AC unit. He knew exactly what was wrong with it and fixed it. The only issue was the timeframe. They don't work on weekends, so I had to go all weekend with no AC. It was hot and in the 90s. I got some fans, opened the windows, and waited. I would suggest that American Home Shield contractors be more available on the weekends.
Dynamic Air Flow was great. They were early. They called me quickly after I submitted my request. Everything they did was great. The contractor was the first one that we've used because we were with another company that was terrible, and that was why we switched to American Home Shield. This was my first experience with them and it was very good.
For an issue with a clogged toilet, American Home Shield sent us Loyalty Home Services. They came out right away and did a great job. They weren't there very long. They were efficient and clean. If people have an older home, a home warranty is gonna be worth the yearly fee especially if they have old plumbing and old air conditioning units.
