My daughter has American Home Shield and that's why I chose them. When Wright Refrigeration came out, everything went fine and I never had any issues.
AHS was recommended by a friend and they have good ratings. When I submit a claim, I do it by phone. The service has been very helpful but I had to wait a long time to get to somebody. But then the person was willing to do the recall for the air and then I put it in a different claim, and he was able to do both at the same time. So I didn't have to call back a second time. The experience with the recent claim was good as well.
We had a problem in our bathroom and that's why I had somebody call us from American Home Shield. They sent out NW Sundance and they came in as scheduled on the day and time of the appointment. My home is an older house and my real estate agent recommended that I get AHS. Recently, I had a very good experience with them and I was very pleased with the services they provided. We had a problem with something in the electrical outlet and we did not have any power. Faster and they always try to make the service ASAP.
We assumed Chesapeake Comfort Systems would be here for our heating system issue when they said they were gonna be but there were several delays. We had to call several times and they said they got very busy. It took three weeks to get something done and they said that our equipment wasn't very good. We paid $125 to have them come and that's what they thought that it was worth. I'm going to call Home Shield and I'm sure they're gonna work it out for us. I submitted a claim online to American Home Shield when we had slow drains in both of our bathtubs. Their tech from American Plumbing called me that night and he was at my place an hour and a half after I put in my claim. My bathtub drain issues were all repaired. Having AHS's coverage is cheap and it makes things quick and fast.
We were having some trouble with the burner and the oven on our standalone range. I went online and scheduled for the following day. Then, I got a follow-up call to confirm it and Whirlpool came out and took care of it. Everything works great and it has helped with preparing food. Overall, American Home Shield was efficient and they remedied the problem.
I have had American Home Shield for over three years. I only had two claims so far. The first claim, I had a couple of challenges but it was because of having someone coming into the house. Due to the pandemic, there were a couple of challenges. On the other hand, the second claim was very successful. I had an issue with an attic fan a couple weeks ago and the claim was handled well. The company came the next day and they replaced it.
