Relaxed Heating and Air did wonderful. They were on time and they get out here quickly. They told me what was wrong and we fixed it. The tech had to replace something but he said there was other work that needed to be done so we scheduled for that to be done. They came back and did it. I have a friend that uses American Home Shield and she recommended it. So, I went with her opinion. I signed up in May and it was available in June. Submitting a claim was very easy. I went online and did everything. Wooley Plumbing’s service was wonderful and very professional. The rep was a very nice gentleman. There was a part that he had to get and he came back the next day and put it in.
I had a previous company come out twice that was supposed to have a leaking toilet fixed, but they didn't. Home Shield sent out Top Notch and they were great. Home Shield handled it very well. The claim process is very easy. I have done it on my computer over online, and then when my internet wasn't working, I have done it over the phone and it doesn't take five minutes. Home Shield has been great with all of my issues.
The same fan that the tech fixed in May stopped again. He replaced it this time. He's perfect and everything is fine. What happened with the AC in May was the fan outside stopped. After 30 days it stopped again that's why we filed a claim twice on the same issue. When I called, they came fast to fix it. American Home Shield is very good.
I was having AC issues and when I submitted that claim, somebody came up the next day. The person who came out was good and professional. Now, I was having similar issues and I had made another claim and they weren't gonna be out for three days. So, I cancelled it and just had to call somebody.
When I had water on my floor in my bathroom, I called a claim in and told American Home Shield what the problem was, and they set me up with Harvey’s to come out and fix it. When I called AHS, I talked to a real person and I had no problems with him. My only problem was I was on hold for over an hour to get through. The guy from Harvey’s was very nice. Our recent claim with AHS was for the dripping faucet that we had in the bathroom. The person that came was very professional. It went really well. They had to order a part ’cause I have old plumbing. The hot water faucet when you turn it over torques, it's stripped the backing. So we ordered the part and we were just waiting for it to come in. When I moved in, I found that one of my sinks had a leak underneath it. Then the other one, I was going to wash my face and the drain shattered almost. Since they were both plumbing issues, I decided to give American Home Shield a call. The claim was denied at first and it took me a very long time to get in touch with someone. We have a sink in our bathroom in the basement and a sink where we do the dishes. One day, I went downstairs and the sink there was backed up. Apparently, they're on the same line. I ran the sink again to make sure that was causing the problem and it was. There was a blockage in our line and I ended up calling American Home Shield to go and get a plumber to come out.
