There was a leak, and Anytime Air Conditioning was very thorough. Their customer service was great. I was most pleased with the contractor's disposition because he was pleasant, easy to talk to and easy to deal with. American Home Shield's claim submission is an easy process. I've got a dual oven stove and one of the ovens stopped working. When the technician from South Valley Appliance got there, he didn't have the right parts so they had to order it. But they did a good job of following up and calling up to come over and fix it. So the technician came for a second visit and he got it done quickly. He also fired up the oven so we saw that it was working. He was very courteous and professional as well. We’ve had the warranty with American Home Shield for four years and it’s working out good for us. It’s probably a break-even for us at this point with that few years we haven’t done anything with them and then a couple of small jobs here and there. It’s the second time we’ve had Certified Heating & Air come out for totally opposite issues. They were great and perfect. They were exactly what they said they were. I've started my coverage with AHS in June 2018 and so far, there is no problem. I had a couple of clogged sinks in the bathrooms and All Valley Plumbing came and unclogged them. They were good and they took care of the job. Everything turned out good.
I had a couple of water leaks in the water heater and bathtub. The contractor came in and showed me how I could handle it next time, if need be, to make me feel more confident that it’s something that I could easily do. I also had someone come out for an AC unit and they weren’t very professional. They weren't upfront with what was going on so I got somebody out of my own money at the time and got somebody out there to discuss everything I needed to happen for that.
I've been a Home Shield member for 26 years. I was renting and under the homeowner's contract. And when I bought my home, I continued with Home Shield. General Electric was for the washer. They came and do what they were supposed to do. However, Home Shield's phone lines are terrible. They need to revamp the phone lines because you can be on hold all day long. I submitted a claim online to American Home Shield for our circuit breaker that kept clicking off regularly. I got an email saying that Epic Mechanical Service had been assigned to me and that they would be reaching out. They did so and we got an appointment scheduled. The techs came, identified my problem and fixed it. They were good and now I have no more problems.
AHS took care of the problems I had with my air conditioning system. They are very professional. I would recommend AHS to everyone. They take care of their customer. Thanks AHS!
There was a weird smell coming from our ductwork and the air wasn't coming out very fast. So, we shut down our system and filed a claim online to American Home Shield. Their website was easy to use. If I have trouble, AHS gives me a 1-800 number to call. However, it takes forever for someone to answer the phone. It would take the better part of three hours to get a hold of somebody.
