Because of having to pay two service call fees for the same plumbing problem and having to have the problem worked on twice. Otherwise, it would likely have been a 5.

I have only used AHS once since purchasing a plan a year ago. My water heater went out and needed replaced. AHS paid for the cost of the water heater and I had to pay the install which was a hefty price but could have been much costlier. The company they contract with did excellent work. I was happy with the service, just wish things were not so expensive. My only complaint is that my monthly fee went up after one year for electronics which I already had included on the original plan so not sure why that happened but would h... read more
