AHS has been amazing with the repair(s) on our washer/dryer combo. They repaired as best they could and when the parts were not available, we got the phone call telling us they would pay for a new one. AMAZING! Great customer service!
You never know when a thing is going to happen, and so I thought that it would be a great opportunity to purchase the warranty. American Home Shield’s claims process is wonderful. High Priority repaired a leak that I had. They came out in about three days after submitting the claim. I have already told my sister about it, and she is supposed to get her warranty too.
Submitting the claim hasn’t been difficult. It’s just the follow-up work that needs to be done afterward is like pulling teeth. It’s like nobody wants to take responsibility for it. The guy that came out with the company that did my claim said he had to put a hole in the wall to get to the valve. It’s a decent-sized hole in the wall. We had a control knob on a Samsung washer fail and we went online to submit a claim with AHS. The user interface of their website was really easy and they assigned Ramey Appliance Repair to our claim. They were very professional and on time. I was very impressed. Their tech's communication was exceptional, too. He contacted us once by phone and by email twice. He was able to repair the washer during the call onsite and since then, we've had no issues. AHS has also performed very well for me and I've recommended them.
Quick to get someone out. Updates with emails and text
When my water heater stopped on a Friday, I contacted AHS online and got an immediate response. Unfortunately plumbers couldn't come out until Monday. I called AHS to see if there was an alternative but after 40minutes on hold I gave up. Plumbers were here on time and decided to replace my 18yr old water heater, but needed OK from AHS. I’ve been with Coldwell Banker for a while and heard a lot of people use American Home Shield. Everyone has had a positive feedback from it, and I thought it was time that I jump onboard. When a plumbing company came out from my other home warranty, I was discussing with them who they normally use for contractors and the guy told me to call the office to talk to the main lady. I called their office and talked with the main lady there and she told me they work mainly with American Home Shield and then she told me to call around a couple of other places but she knows a lot of them are American Home Shield. Certified Comfort Heating did a good job. They were here in February and they thought that maybe the panel was going bad, but they repaired it. And then it did go out again in early June. They came and fixed it again, but they said, “Well, we need to order a new panel.” They gave me a call two or three weeks later and said the part was in, and they came and replaced the part.
