My waterline was leaking so I called American Home Shield. They sent out Drain Go but they said they couldn't handle it. I needed another company. American Home contacted S & S Appliance Parts & Service and they replaced my waterline. The work was professionally done. The person who came out came and checked to see what needed to be done. Such a great experience. I put my call in that my AC wasn't working and I had a repair scheduled for the same week. The guy was thorough and cleaned up everything before leaving.
Submitting my claim with AHS was easy. My mother-in-law thought the contractor was fantastic. He was on time and communicated well with her.
It took A-US about 24 hours to get back to me, which you never like in the middle of the summertime but they got back and communicated as to when a technician would be out. Then the technician texted me and called me to communicate. He showed up when he said he would and had the issue fixed in about 45 minutes. So, it was all good. My experience with American Home Shield so far has been good.
Great experience when my gas oven stopped working, they scheduled an appointment in a timely manner. The service company contacted us in advance and showed up when scheduled and repaired my oven in a timely and outstanding manner.
When the motor had gone out on my garbage disposal, the contractor came out the next day and took care of it. They came within the time they said they would and everything's working well. Brian was good and very professional. He was thorough. He came in, diagnosed the situation, and was in and out in probably less than an hour. My air condition unit stopped working. Piedmont came out and they said it was the condenser. The technicians were fine and the first time, when they left, the air condition unit was working. About two days later, it stopped working. When we called the guy out again, he said that there was something that had rattled loose. It didn't take him long to fix it and he said that he had fixed it. We cut it back on and it worked that night. By the next night, which would have been two days ago, it just stopped working again. When I turned on my air conditioner and it started cooling, it got to where it wasn’t putting out any cold air. I called a phone number and the rep from American Home Shield said that they would send someone out, and they did. I was fine with Holder's but they are not very good in answering the phone. I had to call and call before I could ever get down to a response. I left a message and I even texted one of the numbers that I had for them but they were a little slow on responding.
