The air conditioner would turn on briefly and then stop. The technician was nice, polite and professional. We had no issues and the problem was resolved quickly. We’ve been with American Home Shield for 10 years although we might not have had them for a couple years in the middle. I like that having the coverage with them is convenient and easy. Everything’s great.
American Home Shield is affordable and the responsiveness is very fast. Most of the time, we hear within 24 hours and it hasn't gone past that. They set up an appointment and they usually get us in within about a week and so we know what to expect. We've used them a couple of times to fix some issues with our appliances and it has been very easy and everyone that we've used so far has been very polite and nice. Everything went great with Sears. We have several rental properties and use AHS not only for our own home but for several rental properties as well. We use it about a couple of times a year and most of the time, we're really happy with how everything turns out when we use them.
Submitting my claim with AHS was really easy, especially doing it online. However, it was a little difficult finding a provider that was available right away because I guess a lot of people's AC units were out at the same time. I had to call in order to find a different company to come out than the one that I was originally given online. AHS should have more options when you file a claim. I have been with American Home Shield for like 3 years and used it on several occasions. I haven't used it for about a year but noticed you had a notification a tech was on their way with a name as well. I wish that if there was a company I like that's in the American Home Shield family that the website would let me choose them. Or maybe a list of local companies in my area so maybe I could choose. The company is professional and prompt when getting people to come out to the home. We just moved here a year ago and now we are settled we finding things that have been neglected. I've been with AHS for 2 years this year. Highly recommend

We've had American Home Shield for a couple of years. I have three different ones. I have one for myself, one for my son’s house and another one for my husband’s daughter’s house. Because we know that if they have a problem, we’d be the one’s footing the bill. My stepdaughter has replaced a washing machine with it, and my son had a water heater go out and they paid part of that.
