There was something leaking from the pool filter area, so Altra Pools came out. It took a while to get the repair done because when they fixed the pool sweep, it leaked again in another area. Nevertheless, they got it all fixed after a couple of tries to get it done, and everything was fine after. Having American Home Shield helps with the bills. Everything else is great, too.

We have been with AHS for a long time. When I bought my house 23 years ago, I had another warranty, but then somehow that disappeared and I ended up with American Home Shield. The number one thing I like about it is the fact that they send me somebody, and they don’t normally don’t try to sell me something I don’t need. When I put in the claim, the tech came out and said that it needed routine maintenance and that AHS would not cover that. We went ahead with that and I had to pay $75 to American Home Shield, and then I had to... read more

My water softener wasn't dripping right so my husband filed a claim with AHS on the phone and SWAT Plumbing came out. They fixed it for me and gave excellent service. The tech unscrewed something that goes around the tip of the faucet and when he did that, the water pressure came out. The water is now coming out good.

Submitting my claim with AHS was quick and easy. I did everything online and it was pretty self-explanatory. I set the appointment up on an evening and the contractor was out the next day. They fixed the issue and were in and out really quickly.

I called AHS about my refrigerator and they sent out MR Service. The tech was excellent. So far, we've been extremely happy with Home Shield.

My experience with AHS has been great. I got it on both of my houses. So far, everything has been commendable. My house that I have in Virginia, usually, I have them go through the tenants. Then if they need to reach out to me if they can’t get ahold of the tenants, they call me directly, and then it’s a pretty smooth transition from there. Then up here in Arizona now, it’s okay. I try to turn people onto it and I’ve turned my sister on. She was going through some problems with some plumbing though. They sent the same guy ou... read more

For the most part, American Home Shield's contractors have been all right, but I was really impressed with that last one that came out especially after what we went through. The technician Amazing Comfort sent out was awesome. He knew what he was doing. We had a company prior to them that came out for the heating, and they had to come out three times before that was fixed. The Amazing Comfort technician saw the problem with the wire being cut outside and got the wires redone up in the attic to the air handler. This made the ... read more

My central a/c wasn't working. AHS hooked me up with a company right away. I did have to wait a week before they could come out but a $500 repair cost me only $100.

My air conditioner furnace stopped working, and American Home Shields replaced the unit. I would recommend them to anybody because this company has kept their promises to their clients!
