I renewed with AHS as I think it’s a good value for the money. I do my claims with them via the internet. They sent out Certified Electric for an issue and they replaced the fuse box as they thought it was burnt out. They had it on the truck and the job was done in about 15 minutes. It went fine and there were no issues.

I've had American Home Shield for a very long time and I have two properties, so it's twice this time. Some contractors were good, while some were not. If it wasn’t good, I would contact American Home Shield and we’d get it figured out. They're very good and I've recommended to a lot of my friends who have a lot of appliances in their home.

Microwave stopped heating but everything else on the unit worked. The tech arrived early and called on his way. He was professional and used CDC guidelines the entire time he was here.

It's a good idea to have American Home Shield because you never know what can happen and they have a good first responder so I would recommend them. But they should reduce the initial fee because whether there is a problem or not, I still have to pay the $75 and sometimes, a lower fee would be good. Recently, I had a claim and I felt like a fool because I failed to notice that there was dust over the sensors. So the technician came, wiped the dust off and it was gone. That was the only problem and I paid $75 anyway. That my ... read more

The 2 men from Ace's Garage Door Repair did an excellent job. They came in and followed social distancing. They completely explained the problem. They said the spring on the right side of the garage door was broken. They even put it in words that were adequate to me where I could understand. They said it’s similar to car brakes. They wear down and can break. They said no brakes on a car wears out the same time so I could replace 1 spring if I wanted or I could pay extra and replace both. I told them to replace just 1 and the... read more

As a Realtor, I have they are my go to home warranty company. It was nice to use them when I purchased my new home. They fixed my a/c. Only issue I had is I called on a Sunday and they weren't able to come out till Friday.

I liked the contractor that came out for our recent claim with AHS. They fixed the problem. They made an appointment, and then whoever they assigned to it, called and said when they were coming. If they ended up running late, they called. Then they had a dispatcher and they kept in touch. AHS kind of messed up in the beginning. When I first signed up for it, there was supposed to be a free rekey, and the guy that answered the phone said I wasn’t eligible for that for 30 days. I paid for the rekey out of my pocket. Somebody w... read more
