I had American Home Shield years ago when I owned my other house. I came back on board with them about 2 years ago. Everyone has been very nice and accommodating. The only difficulty that I had was getting through because of being on hold for 2 hours at one point. That happened more than once before the ordeal was done but I survived it. I have an issue with my stove. A couple of my burners were jumping off on high. My oven would work but sometimes it would come on very quickly, and sometimes it would just take the longest to get up to temperature. Submitting the claims with AHS was very easy. I went online, put in a request and someone responded in four hours. So I had an appointment putting it the same day. The contractors came out the next day. South Placer Heating and Air came to repair the swamp cooler that they had already been out here two times before to do. The second time they came out, the swamp cooler flooded because the guy who came the first time adjusted something and that wasn’t the problem. The second guy came out and the roof was too weak. He was afraid to go up there, so he left. We had to put a new roof on the house then I called them, and they came out and fixed it. All in all, I love American Home Shield. They are so good. I submitted a claim online to AHS for an AC that was not cooling. Their website is very user-friendly. They gave me a time frame as to when to expect the contractor. They said the contractor would call me in about 24 hours so they could commit, which they did. Then they scheduled me for like three days out. When they showed up, they were friendly and introduced themselves. So, it was great. They came to do a diagnosis. The next thing would be for them to come out to make the actual repair. My recent claim with AHS went well and excellent. My air conditioner wasn't keeping up with the heat. When the technician arrived, it was very professional. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. It's working really good now. Last year, I had the AC guy come out and look at it. He couldn't really find anything wrong with it, so this year, they did. Everything is really good with my experience with AHS.

The tech from All Hours Emergency Plumber, one of American Home Shield's contractors, was on time and cordial. He had experience with the task and figured out underlying issues. He surpassed expectations.
The AC claim was handled really well. The guy from J.E.T. Mobile Engineering Services was very professional. He was out the first time and told us exactly what needed to be done. He came on a Saturday or Sunday so he couldn’t get the part that day. He said that he'd be back when the place opens up. It was Tuesday that he called me direct ‘cause it was by the holiday and said that the place is still closed and that he would call and let me know as soon as he gets the motor. My water heater wasn’t getting hot and the burner was not firing. The water would never get more than lukewarm. The pipes would pump but they were like hammering. I filed a claim with AHS. I just went online and their website was user-friendly. Somebody called me that day and set the appointment for Air Pro Master to come out for the next morning.Everything was in my garage so the contractors didn’t have to come in.
