Westside was very kind to work me in on a Friday when they were very busy because otherwise, I would have gone without air conditioning all weekend. I needed Freon, so the technician added Freon, and everything was going great. I got up Saturday morning and thought I’d check the unit. I went outside, and the entire Freon line was iced over. So, I turned off the unit and let that defrost, and it took several hours, and then I was able to turn the air conditioner back on again. MVP Mechanical came out to look at my air conditioner. I could not get it working. The guy that came out was awesome. Our AC is fixed. He got me straightened out. The only thing is I wasn’t aware that I was gonna be charged $100 for it. Otherwise, I’ve been happy with AHS so far.
My filter was leaking. I had a valve that was broken as well as a valve that was broken on the filter. ABNation came out and took care of it. I’ve had American Home Shield for 14 years and they’re easy to deal with. But they won’t replace things until they’re broken and dead, which is almost too late at that point. Instead of having an emergency, they did more preventative stuff.

I had two repairs within the month with different things, and Nate came out both times. He was really good, quick, professional and timely getting there. I didn’t have to wait. Submitting claims is pretty easy. I usually just call in and have it scheduled. So far I’ve only had two separate contractors with AHS and both were great.
The air conditioning wasn't working at all so Air & Water Solutions came out and they were able to put refrigerant in and get it working. My husband filed the claim to American Home Shield online and then called their customer service number. They initially scheduled the first company that wasn't available until Thursday. When we called, they were able to get a company out that same day and they scheduled within a couple of hours of us calling. We love Air & Water. They were great. Everything seems to be running fine. My oven started making a loud noise and I thought it was the fan. I went online and the website was very easy to use, intuitive, so it made submitting the claim very easy to do. They told me they would call me within 24 or 48 hours and then the person who came out was great. He did everything he needed to do and fixed the problem. Now, my oven is working perfectly.
Active Air Heating & Cooling came out for our central air as it wasn't cooling. Everything is working now. They're pretty good as far as services and things. I know it doesn't take too long to get things lined up and I still can get them repaired.
