In a conversation in one of my classes that we had, someone said their air conditioner clunked out on them and they had to pay over $3,000. Someone mentioned Home Shield and I looked it up, did my research and I said, "Oh, okay. Got it." I just go online and submit the request and things of that nature there. My refrigerator was leaking water from the bottom and my washing machine had stopped. Filing the claim with Home Shield was pretty easy. It wasn’t difficult to navigate the website and get that done. The only thing was when you click on file a claim, it kinda reroutes you back to your homepage. It took me a couple of times before I figured out what I needed to click on my account page. I had an issue with the water heater. I filed a claim with American Home Shield and the first time that they sent out a tech was a little tough. But sometimes those people that they use to do their service are the people that they can get contact with, which is understandable. But if I was gonna get something fixed for myself and I didn't have insurance, and I would choose a contractor, it wouldn't be the one that they chose to send out. Great experience resolved the issues I needed taken care of
We've lived at four different places and we've had American Home Shield since we bought our very first house. It's been 20 years. We transferred the policy every time or when the seller purchased the warranty, we always said, "American Home Shield." AHS is really good. Someone comes in two days whenever I submit a claim. Recently, Sunny Breeze came out and fixed the air conditioner.
One time, I had a leaking pipe. I called American Home Shield to submit a claim. The process was easy and the rep provided good customer service. I was told to expect their contractor Blue Ridge Remodeling Heating & Air Conditioning within 24 hours. The techs who came gave great service. Things have been good since they were out.
We have used our home warranty many times over the last 15 years and we have never had any issues at all. The service is always great and since they’ve switched to using their website to set up appointments it’s been even better. Every step has always been smooth without any issues. You are given the contractors name and number right away so you can reach out to set up an appointment or discuss the issue. I highly recommend this warranty and most importantly I’m glad we have it!
I've used American Home Shield for our AC unit issues in the two years that I've had them and so far, it has been good. I get the emails and the text messages from them which are nice. Submitting a claim was very easy. When the AC wasn’t coming on, I requested for the Grady’s Air. They’ve been really nice.
