The American Home Shield website is very user-friendly. I was told to expect contractors in 24 hours. Direct Appliance Repair called immediately, within the hour. They came the following day. The refrigerator was leaking water but now it's been functioning correctly. American Home Shield simplified our daily tasks. It’s been a good experience ever since I started with them.
Doctor Cool came out. It was great. He was super helpful and he helped fix my AC. I have two AC units, and the one that was the downstairs just needed a new motor. He replaced that ’cause it was covered under the warranty. He told us to get us a new AC thermostat. We got a new one and I noticed that it was different. It was cooler already in the house. Submitting the claim to AHS was easy. Everything has been great with AHS.
Having Home Shield makes things easier. I don't have to keep track of which thing I bought when and what manufacturer’s warranties are where. I’ve got enough of that to keep track of. It’s been a rare exception that I’ve had somebody come out to fix something who wasn’t actually good at their job. I had Home Shield for another house that I owned and they were great. For the price and the quality, I thought it was the best one. I had a claim and J & K Plumbing came out. They were wonderful and everything was resolved.
Everything was perfect with our recent plumbing claim with AHS. It was super easy submitting the claim online. The contractor that came was friendly and quick too. It was really simple. He didn’t have to stick around for too long.
American Home Shield is the best home warranty company I have ever worked with. I have had other home warranty companies I have dealt with that have been an absolute nightmare. AHS makes it easy when filing a claim it's completed on line the next business day the vendor contacts me for an appointment. Every item I have filed a claim on has been handled with no questions asked etc. I will keep renewing my policy every year.
AHS had Cavalry Appliance come over and the technician was very nice. We had a problem with the refrigerator which had something to do with the compressor and he fixed it the first time he came out. The fridge worked great and everything was okay. But the second time, the Freon was coming out from somewhere and he couldn't determine where the opening was to fix it.
