fast, friendly, easy to file a claim. Glad I have the insurance.
I used American Home Shield on my garage door and they got somebody to come in and take care of it fairly promptly. The guy was well-versed in working with garage doors. It was an old motor and it took him a little bit of time to get it fixed, but he repaired the thing and he was polite and courteous enough. It was a fairly reasonable experience.
I am very happy with American Home Shield. Sears came out for an appliance issue and he fixed it right away. It was probably the best claim in 20 years. I called on a Thursday. And on Monday, he came right out. He was very professional. With the virus going around, he had gloves and a mask on. He sprayed where he touched after he got through with a Lysol spray. I was very pleased. American Home Shield has always done exactly what they say.
Air Majesty came out for our recent claim regarding our AC. The contractor seemed like a nice guy. He called and showed up. He took care of it quickly and resolved our problem. For this claim, it was good. The previous time, when my evaporator coil was leaking, they said I had to do all kinds of crazy things to bring the thing up to code. The difference in the Freon cost. We had a problem with the washer and Appliance Service Masters fixed it. I just called American Home Shield for the claim. So I took the information over the phone and then they sent me an email on what vendor was gonna come. The man called an hour later after she set it up. Then, he told me the time that he would be coming and he called again to let me know that he was en route. The man was good. We had GE Appliances come out to fix a switch and then my microwave. My window was 12:00 to 4:00 and the technician came at the very last moment. But he was very nice and friendly. I really recommend him. He was a great guy. Overall, I’m pretty happy with American Home Shield. I was able to file the claim online and it was pretty easy to do.
E & A was very fast, prompt, and professional. The contractor kind of told me that the starter was not working and that he replaced it. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The AC unit wouldn't start and my husband tried to see if the blades were running. He pushed the blades with a small stick and it would run. We were getting air flow, but the AC wasn’t cooling. The technician came in, took a look at the compressor outside, went to his truck, got a part and changed it out. This is the second claim I’ve made. I just bought the house less than a year ago and I’ve had American Home Shield since July.
