We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom, and so I submitted a claim for it online. The website of American Home Shield is easy to use, and the contractor came out in a couple of days. The guy from Wakeman Maintenance was nice and professional. Our jetted tub was leaking water through one of the seals and then going down in between underneath the bathtub. There’s a faucet on the outside of the house that we use the water hose to water the garden or whatever and the thing came loose. Also, one of the faucets upstairs in my master bathroom was not coming completely out right. Draingo came and they said that to fix the faucet outside, they would have to go through the brick on the outside of the house, the drywall on the inside of the house, and maybe through the fireplace portion. RK Plumbing came and fixed everything. They were great.
The contractors came out to take a look at our washing machine because it was operating very oddly. It was really loud. We just wanna make sure that there was no damage being done with the washing machine and if that issue could be fixed. The contractor let us know that the problem was a belt or something in the washing machine has failed. So, we just had to have it replaced. I’m happy with American Home Shield so far. A-Z Appliance Repair came out right away when I filed the claim. It was that day or the next day. The part that I needed was out of stock and he ordered it. He said it would take a week but it was actually less than a week that he came back. Then he discovered there was another part that was needed and he was able to get that within a few days as well. So it was all pretty quick. He was very efficient. I'm pleased with the service of American Home Shield and I've been with them since 2004. I have the warranty in all my houses and other properties that I own. It's good and I always recommend American Home Shield to people when they are getting houses. I tell them about my experience. My niece, who is at a property I own, was having problems with a leak behind in the bathroom. We had a faucet replaced. It didn't feel like the parts were covered based on what the contractor told me. So, that wasn’t very clear to me going into it, like if a faucet needs to be replaced but you get a really cheap plastic part. It’s not the same as what you have if you don’t buy one yourself. We had another claim wherein the AC unit fried all the key parts. Next Generation came and fixed it, and replaced the compressor and some of the electronics that fried. That went great.
The contractor did good with my plumbing issue. The next day after I filed the claim, he came out and fixed it.
