Great service. The technician arrived timely. He was friendly, asked appropriate questions to help identify and find the electrical problem I was having. He diagnosed the problem and fixed quickly and efficiently.
Perry Mechanical came out to fix our AC unit. It took a couple of weeks for them to come out because of the Coronavirus but they did great. AHS is a good company. Everything's good. It's just that the Coronavirus kinda slowed everything down but I understand that.
We had a clogged valve by my water heater to where it wasn’t allowing any hot water to run through my house. Before I knew I was covered there was another plumbing company that came and they told me that I had to replace my whole water heater. I'm a Realtor and I've used American Home Shield for years! I always encourage my clients to purchase AHS when they close. AHS is very reliable and has excellent service contractors who take good care of us.
We’ve had American Home Shield with other houses before that we weren’t the first owner on and they saved our butts. With our house now, we’ve been here for over a year and a half. We made a claim for our AC unit and AHS gave us Bella Heat & Air for the repair. This claim went well. I've had them for about three years and the couple of times that I had to call them, they responded. Their repair people are okay. For the thing that they cover, they did good on the two times that I had to use them.
Our repairmen were excellent. They both knew exactly what to do, and their expertise was obvious. American Home warranty is worth the cost for the piece of mind you get.
The recent claims we had with American Home Shield were both done fairly rapidly. When the garbage disposal was messed up, the young man came in and he was here about 15 minutes and decided that it was jammed up and it needed to be replaced because it had a leak. He went to his truck and got a new one, came in, and 30 minutes later he was through. It was working, and he left. Reese Air came out and they were here and they found the problem. My disposal wasn't working one time and was just making a humming sound when I turned on the switch to activate it. I called American Home Shield and their rep said that I should allow 24 hours for ASAP Plumbing Services to reach out to me. They called me later that day. ASAP came out to do service and the two guys from there were very friendly. They explained what occurred and recommended what to check before calling going forward. Things have been working fine since then.
