My heater broke and with in 24 hours Home Shield had someone out to the house to fix it. The repair men where fast and also cleaned up before they left. Now I can enjoy my nice warm house.
They replaced my fridge! Always quick to get someone to my home. Price is fair.

We bought an American Home Shield home warranty with last two houses we've bought. In the first house, our problems were minor, just an appliance here or there that were broken and repaired. But in our last house, we had an American Home Shield warranty and had to have two air conditioning units replaced. They were old units, and we knew that when we bought the house, but we didn't think they'd need replaced in the first year! Until that first summer. I have been a customer since 2011 and have received service on my air conditioner, plumbing, garage door, refrigerator, stove top and fire alarms. All of my experience with the service providers has been excellent with the exception of the stove top. The stove top service was just ok as they had to come out several times for the same issue. The only thing I would suggest improving is the customers ability to choose a provider.
Our hot water heater started to leak. I called American Home Shield they sent a plumber who told us the unit was shot . He came back and installed a new one. Problem identified and solved! I’m pleased!
