Very responsive. Only filled out the request online. Someone called back in timely manner and took care of the problem.
I have not had to wait on hold like other critics because I filed my requests for service online. The companies chosen to fix my issue(s) have been less than stellar. I just had to purchase a new HVAC after three years of putting on bandaids through temporary fixes (often misdiagnosed), which cost me hundreds of dollars in refilling a unit twice with freon. The prices are better than any of the other companies I checked with for my home warranty. Using an independent insurance agent I feel like there's always somebody that I can call. And the home warranty that I have it covers everything it's great
I called American Home Shield and within a few hours was called by the company of my choice and they were her the next day and all was fixed.
Absolutely fantastic experience with AHS. They have dispatched great companies to my house who have solved my problems and are willing to be flexible with my schedule. Couldn't ask for anything better as new home owners. We are definitely going to purchase the warranty each year!
I've worked with AHS both as a contractor and a homeowner. My first contact with them was as a contractor where I immediately noticed how prompt they are at getting the homeowners up and running again hassle free. Once I purchased my home I knew I wanted AHS as our warranty company however we had to wait 2 years as the previous owners already had a policy with another company. My washer stopped working and after the technician came out informed me that it was not repairable. The technician notified you of this and your Appliance Repair Department took over and did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of the problem. I now have a new washer in place and have it paid for. Thank you for the wonderful service!
Repair process was fairly easy. AM HME SHLD was helpful and technician was good. The replacement of our microwave took a long time, about three weeks to get replaced, delivered and installed but was done well.
