I was referred by a Navy friend Cj A. I served 31 years as well. This my first experience using AHS services... and it was awesome, timely, professional and appreciated.
I have mixed feelings about AHS. I believe this company can improve on customer service as well as making sure the customer is better taken care of by the contractor. I have two negative experiences with contractors. I don't think AHS tracks when a contractor is sent out and when the contractor gives the diagnosis to ahs or the consumer. The repair takes longer than necessary due to this lack of communication and supervision, therefore the consumer suffers. Wonderful Company to do business with . Always happy to help me. Always notify me with in a few minutes of the name and number of service company, that will begin contacting me within 24 hrs. The companies have been top notch with their time and and their work.
AHS has responded to my calls promptly and courteously. I have placed 2 repair needs in the 2 years I have been a customer. Repair company's have been promptly referred. One item was cleared up immediately. My 2nd call has been less successful. The repair service have been out twice, but the problem not resolved. The program works but contractors can cause you headache and make it seem like the program doesn't work. Take a video of everything the contractor does at your house because they can lie to AHS and consequently cause your claim to be denied by AHS. Having a video evidence can be priceless in such situations. This is from my one claim experience after being a customer for about a year. I still have my membership because it's worthed. Just be vigilant with the lying contractors.
