So far I’ve used my warranty for kind of minor issues. I have been very pleased. Going forward should I have a major issue I hope I’ll be just as pleased.
Our ice maker went out on an old Wards refrigerator ( not sure of it’s age - but old.) When repair was not feasible, AHS offered several options for replacements. AHS REPRESENTITIVE made the suggestion that we could look ourselves for what we would like and being the weekend after Thanksgiving there were some very good sales going on. They offered up to $1100 if we replaced with a refrigerator of our choice. $1100 was considerably more than we had expected to replace ours. The last time I had a service man come out to work on my dishwasher all he did was on screw three screws from my dishwasher and it started working again. He told me that his service call was $85 yet I was still charged $125 co-pay from American Home Shield. I was not very happy about that.
It takes way too long to get someone on the telephone
Alex, from A&R fixed my furnace and let me know from day one what he would be doing. He had excellent work ethic and was very professional. I would allow him to do work in my house any time.
They responded almost immediately to our request and set up an appointment with service representative very quickly. He repaired our appliances quickly and efficiently as soon as the needed parts arrived. It was professionally completed from beginning to end!
We got the warranty free when we bought the house. I never used it the first year. When it was time for renewal I kinda hesitated. But I’m glad I did!! AHS is the best. They have fabulous and competent tradesmen. I’ve been very very satisfied.
we have had several issues with an older home that we just bought. This warranty has saved us thousands in repairs from plumbing problems. Absolutely will never buy again without purchasing the same warranty from AHS!
I’ve experienced AHS and their competitors. Based on home appliance services offered, customer service, their repair service vendors, response and customer recovery, I would highly recommend AHS. While other companies don’t hesitate for a moment to deduct funds without fulfilling or completing services requests, AHS ensures that my needs and that of my home is taken care of first.
