I had a water leaknat home. AHS sent a contractor and after the contractor turned in their report demanding a leak detection be done nothing was authorized or scheduled. I kept calling for answers as to getting a fix and they sat on this and did nothing. I had no hot water for 2 weeks with no repairs. I ended up scheduling everything with a different contractor and no reimbursement was given to me. I had to solve the problem myself because they did nothing to solve the issue. Terrible response time and has zero concern for helping home owner. Customer service reps are all overseas and speak very broken English making communication next to impossible. Companies used to fix any issue put you at the back of the line due to the hassle of repair & parts approvals. Unless you don’t mind waiting several days or it’s a major appliance replacement it’s better to just hire service direct or DIY!!!

The last 2 service request have cost me 3 days of missed work, your service charge and with no repair complete.

No options for service people that are reputable when I need a repair and long wait time for repairs to be completed

I have had this device less than a month for my new home. It started out great with the vendor who came to provide my complimentary rekey. But as I have been trying to redeem the second complimentary service that comes with my plan, I have been getting the run around for weeks from the AHS agents. I am beyond frustrated and unimpressed.

I filed a claim for a leaking water heater. A man was sent to check it out. I received a call from AHS but could not understand what he was saying. In the meantime I have replaced the water heater including installation at my expense. Please tell me what is going on? Thank you.

There is never anyone u can talk to that speaks good English. My rate went up and I didn't even know it. It is not fair if you have an electrical issue due to a storm to have to pay 100 for each different item.

American Homeshied has raised prices over the years, yet service can still not be done without waiting 3 days!!! They need to work on this! Otherwise we will be cancelling.
