Poor customer service the worse I've ever had!

In many instances, AHS has been very quick and generous, new water heater, washing machine. Unfortunately, my experience with the length of time for air conditioning repair (and Texas's 105 degree heat ) means I have found a local company to repair and now replace my aging HVAC system. I just don't have the energy to wait for weeks for a decision, as I did with the washing machine as well as during a previous repair on the AC unit. I still have an open ticket from January and repeatedly call for resolution. The contractor sent to our house basically ghosted everyone and never gave a diagnosis, so nothing was done. No one can help at the customer service level and the other unit they refer the case to repeatedly fails to follow up.

AHS skirted around my air conditioning problem for several years. By bringing out different contractors they were able to break the law by just having them refill my refrigerant several year in a row at my cost of course. Until they finally had a service come out this year to tell me, without measuring my house, that my unit was too small thus taking AHS off the hook for the ongoing problem. There have been no additions to my house since we moved in 21 years ago.

I have only one complaint and that is you refused to repay my air conditioner unit because of damage being done by dogs. The damage was done Peter to my purchase by dog that belonged to the seller of the home. I was told that American Home Shield would replace anything that was damaged prior to purchase of the home. I’m extremely unhappy that I was lied to.

"My request was submitted on May 12. Today is June 15 and I still have no resolution. I have been given the run around by ProTech Appliance. They have been full of excuses. After reaching out on June 14 to AHS I finally received an email with a repair date of June 23rd which is more than a month from the initial repair request. This has been a terrible experience. ProTech is located in Conroe over an hour away. There are many reputable appliance repair companies in Houston, TX alot more accessible to my area."
