Customer service is terrible, everyone I spoke to gave me different information

With my contract stating hose bibs are covered we were denied by AHS.. I advise anyone who thinks their request will be covered they better read every single word of every single page! We will not be renewing our contract

Never had an issue. Except now , I am in need of a plumber and was referred to one that is backed up in work and don't know when he be here. Sent message and was told they are working on finding someone else . That was a week ago. Haven't heard nothing. That's the first time in 14 yrs I am having trouble.

Usually AHS is very responsive and gets things fixed at a decent time frame, exceptions of A/C problems in the future. Right now I’m having hot water heater issues and it’s been almost a month and I’m still waiting on AHS to contact me on what my options are. It’s a great home warranty to have, but I think on somethings it should be more customer friendly and not having to continue to call to check status’s of problems that need to be repaired

On September 3rd, I submitted a case for my garage door that broke and paid my $100 deductible. The rep didn't ask for any additional information regarding the door. The service provider came out the same day, and told me the door would not be covered because it wasn't the motor, it was the springs. As the customer, I didn't know this. I would of saved my $100 and called someone outside of American Homeshield. Not only did I pay $100, but had to pay an additional $249.00. I called and spoke to Julia on September 3rd.
