I wouldn’t even give 1 star to this company. This company is just good at scamming people rather providing good service. I cancelled my policy still company took the money for that month besides they were also asking me to pay the admin fees.

AC loosing refrigerate. Service call to Central Air gave an estimate of $450 for 6 pounds of R410A. Their cost is outrageous; 25 lbs on-line is $140. My issue with American Home Shield is that I've added refrigerant to this same unit twice in the last 2+ years. There's obviously a leak that can't be fixed. Since this can't be fixed, it should be replace via the terms of our contract.

Worst company ever. Ive been calling for 3 months trying to get 3 simple receipts for my 75.00 service fee charges. They absolutely have given me the run around. Refuse to let me speak to a manager. I work for a property management company so we deal with a lot of home warranty companies. America home Shield is the absolute worst. It all depends on the contractor they send to your house. I have two identical hot water heaters both under extended warranty. I had to replace one last year. The plumber came out and changed it out. Out of pocket cost was my deductible and an extra $115 b/c my hot water heater was in the attic. This year my other hot water heater went out (still under warranty). Avoid this company, if you save what you would pay them you'll have enough to pay for the repair and choose who you want to repair. Lets see first of all have been with AHS for 6 years and it finally all came to a crashing halt. First we had an issue with our dryer, had a tech come out three times, until finally the dryer caught on fire. Thank God we were home and noticed it before it because out of hand. Terrible Company! I filed a claim for an emergency hot water replacement and was assigned a unprofessional subpar contractor. ASH does not listen and does not "own up" to their mistakes nor rectify them. Will NEVER use them again! Now having to deal with code violations for incorrect installment by ASH vendor. Customer Service is soooo frustrating & just wants to shut me up with $ to resolve the violations.

If I can give them 0, I would have done it. My washer was broken 6-7 weeks ago. The battle born tech came 3 time at my house to fix it unsuccessfully. Then they disappeared. After my calling every week , I was informed "I am so sorry that your washer is not fixed" by an Asian person and they would call the contractor who wouldn't attend their call. Then they would apologies and say the matter is escalated to the next level and you will be contacted in 4 hours or 48 hours or such . I never received once a call back from Home ... read more
