Called AHS several times for the same problem. They use fly-by-night repair services. One of them was Alfa Appliance. Nice kid but terrible English. He was from Burgeria, bless him. But I could barely understand him. And he took frequent smoke breaks in front of my house. In the end, after several visits, I’m going to have to buy another machine. I don’t EVEN want them back. I don’t EVEN want to make them buy me a new machine. I’ve wasted enough of my time. No more warranties for me. I want to move on with my life!

It’s been two months since we contacted American Home Shield who sent The vendor, Miller Pools, to check our spa heater. Since then, the spa is still not fixed, we have to keep following up with the vendor because he doesn’t communicate updates very often. We contacted American Home Shield a couple of times and they didn’t have updates from vendor in system. They are expecting us to call them back to check status rather than them calling us back. My experience with American Home Shield leaves a lot to be desired. I called on a Tuesday to have my HVAC serviced, mind you I informed that I had three senior citizens in my home, and with "feel like temperatures" at and above 100 degrees, was told that the earliest my call could be answered by a service tech was Friday. This is completely unacceptable. The service provider arrived on Friday and repaired the HVAC system.

Disgraceful customer service. The pull out freezer drawer of my refrigerator kept icing up on one side. TWELVE service visits later it was still not fixed. I was finally expedited to speak with the US based customer service who said ANOTHER visit was needed to document the problem so that they could "settle" with me. The same company who had performed all the prior service was sent out and their report concluded that it was MY fault. (Really??) AHS sided with them. AWFUL!!!! And the companies they send out are a complete joke. Paid a $75 service fee for an issue that would have cost $5 for my husband to fix. The company sent out didn't even fix the issue!! Also, if you have the warranty, hopefully you have no issues that cause secondary damage because those aren't covered. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH AHS!!!

A/C Contractor problems. 1st, only cover $10 per pound of freon. 2nd, only 1 A/C contractor for my area, & they hire self contract subcontractors. 3rd, sub came out took ac apart, needed to go to shop to "get parts", text back i need to buy him $800.00 worth of tools for him to finish job. He still had parts he took off. No money from me so he did not return. 4th, now A/c has been down 8 days in Texas August heat and AHS cannot find a contractor that will complete the job. 5th, all i need is a freon recharge.

Very awful warranty company. Have been using them for several years now and have been unsatisfied. I have called about dishwasher, stove and heater issues and to this date have not had anything fixed. Once they complete their diagnosis through a vendor I always have to either pay more ($400-500) because it is not covered under the warranty. Warranty covers "wear and tear" or appliance malfunction. It is a waste of money. Don't be fooled by them.

We had a technician come last week regarding our front loading washing machine. He did not take anything apart or examine any damaged parts, but within 5 minutes told us that it could not be repaired. This washing machine is between +/-20 years old. He explained that the drum is supported by a star shaped support (like the Mercedes logo) and that the spokes of that star tend to break from wear and tear.
