I have had good and bad with them. The kitchen sink went and they had it fixed asap. The hvac is leaking freon and they cant figure out where it is after 3 repairs. Replacing the freon is not the answer!

This has been the worst experience that I have ever had. My refrigerator went out two weeks ago and AHS has not gotten it repaired. I will never recommend this warranty company to anyone. The service provider told me that the service request was cancelled- no one call me at all- called them 5 times and nothing has happened.

Horrible company. They make up reasons to deny claims. They interpret their service people's reports to their benefit. They denied my claim stating it was not normal wear and tear. It was for a pool heater. How exactly does not "abuse" or "misuse" a pool heater??? You can't...unless of course your purposely damage it. They are a by scam.

This is a rip off. I had to pay way out of pocket of $100 service fee and $610 on what AHS didn't pay. AHS paid $50 and I had to pay $710 and that’s not even counting my monthly service fees. And it took over a week to get my ac unit fixed with the contractors they use. It was a waste. Oh and by the way, the part was free bc it was still under warranty. Insane.

I have been going through American Home Shield to get my heat pump fixed. Its has now been three weeks. First they ordered the wrong compressor and now its been over a week and still nothing has been ordered and told the parts are still probably three more weeks out and thats when they get around to ordering the. Asked for a cash in offer to replace myself. The offer given wouldnt even come close to getting the parts. The worst company I ever dealt with!! I purchased the highest coverage they have and yet they refused to cover a worn out boot seal for my washing machine.
