Most vendors are not qualified to do the job
American Home Shield is great at quickly dispatching service providers for a variety of home repairs! I’ve been satisfied with about 90% of the service providers. One aspect I feel could be better is recognizing when it is costing more to repeatedly repair an appliance than replacing it.

Called for service, unit was not working. Apprently it was a $75 dollor consult . Then had to schedule a follow on $75 repair Wichita took over a week. The tech put in $1150.00 of freon., replaced the mssing caps and secured the unit.
The technicians I’ve dealt with are lower quality.

Their first call service company would not bother to try to correctly diagnose the problem. The second service company worked hard to resolve the problem

spoke to two reps - the first one immediately demanded the fee w/o an understanding of what I needed. I hung up, began again with a second person, and she did an excellent job.
