After several unsuccessful attempts to get service, (communication errors on both their part and contractor's part) I asked that my $75 service fee be refunded. They offered only HALF a refund, and THAT was after me REALLY pushing hard. I should think that after almost a WEEK of no service, they should be HAPPY to provide a simple refund. Additionally, their customer service representatives are a bit hard to understand with their accents. They state the calls are going to Memphis, but I suspect it's some outsource.

the worst customer service ever! I have been waiting 3 weeks on a garbage disposal. The service order before that I had to wait 8 weeks... Crazy

While signing they said they will ensure that all the equipments including appliances and AC/Heat will be taken care of. When my AC stopped working they charged me $100 and said all rest of the AC replacement cost will come from me being an upgrade. Meaning they paid for nothing. To cancel the service they made me hold for more than 70 min. Horrible experience. My neighbor had an exactly similar experience with his Microwave and he also cancelled the policy. Absolute fraud.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. The worst company I've ever dealt with. Oh wait, you're lucky if you can get to speak with a rep. They'll make you wait on the phone for 30 minutes or more and will hang up.
They are very helpful when they are enrolling you for the service- Of course! But where it breaks down is when you need help- go figure! They are blissfully happy when you're sending in your payments in good faith, but when a claim is made the whole thing starts breaking down. I would never outright hire the maggots and malcontents that have signed up as "licensed contractors" one the company's list of approved repair shops. This is most awful company I had ever dealt with. They keep you on hold forever and never keep their promises. I never got a copy of my contract after requesting a copy three times. The vendors then send to your house are not reputable. Make sure to check all reviews from all websites about this company. BUYER BEWARE
I have been with AHS for about 3 years. Prior to AHS I had two other home warranty companies. The first company contracted with the worse companies that I used. The company was pretty good but they wanted to charge me monthly almost time and half of what I was already paying. I have been with AHS for 12 yrs. I have watched my premiums increase about 15% on average per year. i just keep paying worried that the big repair is right around the corner. But If I add up the avg. $800 per year and $75 service fees (for only 1 appliance at a time - if 2 sinks are clogged its 2 $75 service fees.
