My AC stated leaking water on 5/1/2019 and reported on next day. Appointments were scheduled and cancelled by 2-3 vendors after repeated phone calls. Finally a vendor came a week after and checked it and said evaporator coil is leaking and need to replace along filling 2-3 lbs of Freon 410. AHS sent another contractor almost a week later for 2nd opinion, confirmed the same thing. There customer Service is bad , Chain of communication is very poor . Very very long waiting average is 80 minutes . Vendors are rude .very poor experience with them won’t recommend
Had been a customer for several years. My main purpose was to guard against HVAC issue. In December I had a garbage disposal go bad and decided to use the warranty to see how it worked out. Contractor was fine, but the replacement disposal unit was of very poor quality (I need to replace myself now - warning don't buy GrindSmart!). We received a home warranty as an incentive when purchasing our home. All 4 issues we paid to have them come out and check, they said they would not cover... even though they were existing issues when we purchased this home. We were quoted by the plumber for over 1000 dollars to put in a water regulator. A quick Google search tells you this should be no more than 300 dollars. It was a joke and a total waste of money. We will not be renewing our policy.
Terrible customer service, on the computer answering system for 30 minutes. Send out a AC sevice tech, the guy tried selling me a part that I didn’t need for $300.00 . Told him to forget it and he got in his van drove off, never check my AC system didn’t absolutely nothing. That cost me $100.00
I made a claim for my 11-year-old oven's door that did not close properly. The tech came and told my tenant that the hinges needed to be changed and the repair would be covered by the Insurance. But 3 days later I had a voice message from AHS saying that the damaged hinges were not normal wear and tear. They have been misused?! How the tech can know the difference between a misused hinge or an old one?! And how do you misuse an oven door? Plus I have paid a 100$ service fee without having any estimate to repair my oven. Negative 5 stars!! Be careful regarding submitting service request online. Just for submitting a REQUEST, you will be charged and if you have auto draft set up for your contract, they will drain your account if you don't keep an eye on it. We received NO SERVICE. We submitted a request, but AHS never called us so we ended up fixing it ourselves, but the $106 for a REQUEST was taken from our account. I am saddened by this companies treatment as I have been a customer with them for over 15 years. I had a refrigerator that was broken. They first kept sending out a repair guy to piece it back together, but it kept breaking. After several calls and complaints, and writing a review, they finally agreed to replace the refrigerator.
